Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

Who is responsible for your data?

ADS-B.Pro is operated by Bruno Stelmaszyk, the controller of personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions and requests, contact info@ads-b.pro.

Contact forms and enquiries

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, selected topic and the information you choose to submit. Depending on the topic, this may include feeder/account eligibility answers, hardware requirements or Data Access requirements. We use these details to respond and manage the conversation. Providing the required fields is necessary to send the form; optional details are voluntary.

General enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with people interested in the project (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, Article 6(1)(b) applies. An enquiry does not itself place an order or start paid work.

Messages are stored in WordPress and sent to our configured email inbox. Access to saved messages is restricted to authorised administrators. Relevant hosting and email service providers may process this information to operate these services. Please do not include passwords, activation keys or sensitive personal information.

The form can suggest documentation based on text you type. Up to 500 characters are sent to this website’s own search endpoint to find relevant articles; that search text is not saved by the suggestion feature or sent to an external AI service.

Security and technical data

Web servers and the reverse proxy process technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information and response status, to deliver the site, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. The contact form also uses a honeypot, a locally generated arithmetic challenge and temporary rate-limit identifiers. These measures support our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Optional Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand use of this website. Analytics may process page visits, interactions, browser/device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or contact-message contents to Analytics.

The Google Analytics script is blocked until you accept the Statistics category. Refusing statistics does not prevent access to the website, documentation or contact form. You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

The basis for optional analytics is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google’s processing terms describe the applicable transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. Read how Google uses information and Google’s data processing terms.

Cookies, local storage and live radars

We remember your cookie choices and, when you select it, your light/dark theme preference. WordPress uses additional cookies for administrator login. Details are available in our Cookie Policy.

The live preview loads a separate radar application from radar.vrsx.app or radarview.ads-b.pro. Loading it connects your browser to that application’s server, which receives technical request data such as your IP address. Radar features, map providers and storage are managed within that application; the website’s Analytics preference does not automatically control storage or analytics on a separate radar origin.

How long we keep information

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle the request and relevant follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend claims. Security logs are retained as needed for operational diagnosis and investigating abuse. Backup copies may remain until the corresponding backup is replaced or removed. Google Analytics data is subject to the retention settings of our Analytics property; browser cookie lifetimes are explained in the Cookie Policy. Contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular record.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time. Send requests to info@ads-b.pro; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including the Polish President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

We do not use website enquiries to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. This notice covers the public ADS-B.Pro website; it is not a description of all aircraft-data processing in the wider feeder network or radar software.
