A small but milestone release. v0.2.1 marks the first public build distributed through GitHub Releases, and ships a built-in update notifier so VRS X can let you know when a newer version is available.
GitHub Releases
VRS X is now distributed through GitHub Releases. Each release includes pre-built binaries for all supported platforms — Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. No more manual builds required to get the latest version.
In-App Update Notifications
VRS X now checks for newer versions and displays a notification inside the application when an update is available. The check is passive — no automatic downloads, no background installers. Just a heads-up that a new version exists, so you can grab it when ready.
