Detailed Changes
Photino Removal & Performance Gains
Following reports of instability and WebKit-related issues specifically on macOS, the decision was made to drop the Photino desktop wrapper entirely. The application interface now operates exclusively via your default web browser.
While the primary goal was stability, shifting strictly to a browser-based approach yielded massive performance improvements as a side effect:
- CPU usage dropped by ~40%
- Memory consumption dropped by ~30%
This ensures a much more consistent, reliable, and performant experience across all supported operating systems.
Admin Panel Default Port Change
To reduce the likelihood of port conflicts with other common services, the default port for accessing the Admin Panel has been updated. It now defaults to 8085 instead of 5000. As always, this port remains fully configurable in your settings if you need to run it elsewhere.
Security Fixes and Patches
This release includes several important under-the-hood security enhancements and miscellaneous bug fixes to provide a smoother and safer environment for our closed beta testers.
